THE FIRST OPUS IS DEDICATED TO PARADISE. THE IDEA OF CREATING A NEW COLLECTION OF OPUS FRAGRANCES AND THE CONCEPT OF THE FIRST OF THEM BELONG TO THE FOUNDER OF THE BRAND PETR SHELEPOV AND THE TEAM OF THE PERFUME HOUSE.
Kingdom of Heaven, Eden, Elysium. In different cultures and in different epochs people have tried to understand what kind of life awaits them after their earthly journey. Throughout human history, people of science and art have tried to answer this question. Tintoretto and Dante, Chopin and Nabokov have presented their images of Eden. What could be the paradise described in the language of high perfume art?

— Like an alchemist longing to find the philosopher's stone, I wanted to discover a single formula for Paradise that everyone could understand. We wanted to create a fragrance that would find the right strings in everyone's soul. OPUS “PARADISE” had to embody spiritual purity and morality, love for the world, striving for harmony and, of course, peace. The way to Paradise does not tolerate fuss. The immortal soul has nowhere to hurry, it has a whole eternity ahead of it. “Heavenly Paradise is the radiance that lurks in the thoughts of man, and maybe man's thoughts are the only and true paradise”. These wise words belong to José Saramago. We wanted to create a fragrance that would direct people's thoughts to the light. And we succeeded.

DIVINE AROMA team entrusted the work on the composition to Patrice Martin - a hereditary perfumer. Patrice was born in Grasse - a charming town in the South of France. Grasse is not called the world capital of perfumery for nothing, here olfactory masterpieces are created and recognized masters of perfumery art work.
PATRICE HAS DEVOTED HIS ENTIRE LIFE TO CREATING FRAGRANCES.
He started his career in the first half of the 80s of the last century in the company Roure (nowadays this company is called Givaudan). Working at Givaudan for fifteen years alternately in Paris and Grasse, Patrice took part in the development of famous fragrances for DIOR, Cacharel and other brands. After working at Givaudan, Patrice began a new stage of professional growth at Floressence, which continues to this day. Patrice became the head of the perfume division and became the leading perfumer of the company.

Like any genius creator, Patrice has formed his own recognizable handwriting. The perfumer knows how to tell stories through fragrances. His compositions are characterized by emotional depth and narrative, reflect the Maestro's passion for olfactory art. Patrice emphasizes the use of natural ingredients, masterfully interweaving aromatic chords and creating holistic harmonious works.

THE STORY OF THE ACQUAINTANCE OF
PETR SHELEPOV AND PATRICE MARTEN HAPPENED LONG BEFORE THE JOINT PROJECT.

The meeting took place in 2018 in the Small Hall of the Moscow Conservatory at a concert of the Moscovia Chamber Orchestra.
Peter and Patrice sat next to each other and shared impressions with each other after the concert. Patrice did not speak Russian
and Peter did not speak French, but the magic that Eduard Grach created overcame the language barrier. Peter and Patrice passionately discussed music and perfumery, exchanged contacts and have stayed in touch with each other ever since. When the perfume house DIVINE AROMA asked Patrice to create the fragrance PARADISE, the perfumer immediately agreed.

— It was a real challenge. A fragrance-story about the path to the Light, about the search for your own Paradise - it's not just an aroma composition, it's a philosophy of the universe, retold in the language of perfumery. It is impossible, - I told Peter, - and I will definitely do it! Creating the fragrance, I imagined not just a physical journey, but an inner search for harmony, a path to light and peace. The enjoyment of the moment, the feeling of wings behind my back, the warm atmosphere of love and unconditional acceptance - all of this was to be woven together in OPUS I “PARADISE”.
PLUM IN THE TOP NOTES ADDS A FRUITY SWEETNESS AND JUICINESS.
It symbolizes the pleasure of embarking on a journey, the anticipation of the experiences to come.
Plum is also associated with sophistication and rarity, emphasizing the “paradise” theme. Nutmeg and spices in the heart of the fragrance give the composition a warm, spicy and slightly woody touch. These notes take you mentally to exotic countries, where the aromas of spices fill the hot air and beckon you to continue your journey. Nutmeg is reminiscent of a bright tropical sunset that warms the soul and amazes with the splendor of the Creator's plan.
